Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family that included musicians. Her early years were spent listening to traditional music, boleros from the past along with the traditional ballads of ranchero and romance. Ana is enthusiastic about operas and tangos. She also loves the dramatic stage. The mother of her child taught her to sing, however she started singing with Flavio Belcerra when she was just 16 years old. he was a renowned Mexican opera Tenor. The School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico furthered her education in music. While a young student and professional, she performed with numerous chamber ensembles and opera choirs in Guadalajara and Mexico City. When she moved to America in the year 2000, she joined a chorus of United States in 2000, she sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before shifting to her location in the southern part of California. She performs current classic Latin American songs at private events as a soloist. Being a teacher and a musician Ana is a dedicated participant in many projects in the community because of her love as well as a love of music. Ana was also an ex-member of Community Chorus of Redlands as in addition to the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana is thankful for having the chance to share her love and enthusiasm for old-fashioned Latin American songs with others while she hopes to inspire a passion, especially among younger generations, to help keep this music vibrant and alive.Viva Mexico!
