Michael Keaton is an American actor, producer and director who is famous for his part in the movie 'Birdman. He is a versatile actor who can play both comedic and dramatic characters. Apart from playing romantic roles, he also was a part of action films and thrillers. The passion for performing arts started when he was in his teen years. He tried stand up comedy during his 20s. Although his comedy career didn't go well however, it served as the basis for his future acting career. Because he could not to become the actor of his dreams, he chose to become a television cameraman. When he was working for the cable station, he realized he wanted to work in the front of cameras. He was then able to secure a television role and appeared in several seasons in Mister Rogers Neighborhood. He was a naturally gifted actor who soon gained a lot of attention on television. After having a successful film career, his funny appearances brought him plenty of fame. The actor gained more fame when he played Batman, the titular superhero in Tim Burton's Batman. The actor grew in his craft over time and ventured into the production and direction worlds. He received several awards and nominations for his role in the 2014 film Birdman.
